Counselling Services and Referrals

Remember than the Time Out organisation has expertise, understanding and compassion when things just don’t seem to be going the way you’d like them to in life. We can help with confidential one-to-one appointments or referrals to clinicians and counsellors who can help. You are not alone!

Drug and Alcohol prevention

Alcohol and drugs can take a toll on your mind and body. If you’re not feeling healthy or have medical problems relating to your drinking or drug use, we can connect you with a support service that’s right for you.

Contact one of the Time Out Team or visit the Directline website

Tobacco prevention

You may find the idea of quitting all at once overwhelming.

If you decide to cut down on your way to quitting for good, call the Quitline on 13 7848 or visit the Quitline website

Family violence

We know that talking about sexual, domestic and family violence can be hard.
Contact 1800RESPECT, where you can talk to a trained counsellor who will listen and support you in what feels right for you and your situation, or see one the Time Out Team.

Respect Victoria will have a dedicated focus on the prevention of family violence and all forms of violence against women and it will work for a future where all Victorians experience equality and respect where they live, work, learn, and play.
